Short answer
Most hosts let you see and change your site's PHP version in their dashboard: cPanel calls it MultiPHP Manager or Select PHP Version, and managed WordPress hosts have their own screens. Your host usually supplies PHP's security releases; ask them to confirm the PHP2Shell fix (8.2.35, 8.3.36, 8.4.27, 8.5.12) is applied.
