Bluehost lets you change PHP in the Bluehost Portal or in cPanel's MultiPHP Manager. Agency Hosting uses a different tab in the Portal. For PHP2Shell, see which version your site runs in Bluehost Portal (steps below), then ask Bluehost to confirm the fixed release (8.2.35, 8.3.36, 8.4.27, 8.5.12) or a patched package is applied.

Good to know
- Bluehost's own articles list different minimum and deprecated PHP versions, so trust the list your account shows.
- Bluehost also documents setting PHP with a handler line in your .htaccess file. The Portal or cPanel is simpler and easier to undo.
- VPS and dedicated servers are managed differently. Check with Bluehost for those plans.
